NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Brief: Redesign an inner Melbourne warehouse apartment, in a contemporary style, inspired by the client’s love of New York City, fashion and modern art.

Colours, finishes and furniture were inspired by the colours of New York; the concrete streets, the yellow cabs and black and white of fashion. Particular inspiration came from world famous street photographer, Bill Cunningham, who photographed the fashion of many famous, and ordinary, New York residents.
